Another round of posts has been made over the last couple of days detailing the races and classes we're currently in the process of fleshing out.

Currently each realm has five races and six classes. We feel, at this point, that six classes is a good number - it allows us to give each class something interesting fun to do. While there is some repetition in what the classes of each realm can do, particularly seen in the melee DPS classes like 'rogues', we still feel that we can make the flavor of each class different. In particular, we're rather proud that we could include one or more unique features into each of the realms.

As stated above, our next step is to flesh out the classes to the point that we know exactly what skills will have to be trained, which will have to be researched from the guild, at what levels they'll be available, etc. From that point we'll be able to figure out what could give us trouble in implementation, and then we can move on to actually prototyping them.

For obvious reasons, though we're far closer to having concrete details, nothing is set in stone just yet. In particular, we would love suggestions for different class and race names that you may find disappointing or unclear. I encourage you to post in the following three threads, we're looking for feedback:
