Welcome to a new host. An effort will be made to configure the boards into a "portal" site, to make it easier to communicate news and other information about future development. For now, however, the boards will continue to be the main source of information.

Technically May isn't summer, yet, but there you have it.

Last final is this week. I have some personal things to take care of this weekend that will carry over into late May but I look forward to resuming work on Cyra then. Currently I have no plans for a summer or fall semester; I've been doing the full-time work and school thing for several years now and I need a break. The plan is to carry the momentum that often builds when we get a second (third, fourth, fifth, ...) wind all the way through the end of the year.

Rashka has done an amazing job with bringing us close to completion on Art assets, enough so that we have everything we need to make the client complete. The remainder will still be important to round out the client, but it can easily be left out without things looking too weird for the moment.

Work will resume on the client, until such a time as it is primary feature complete. I will then post a video and resume work on the server. After the server can log people in again (which means I will have the new Land system running) I will split off to finish the new mapper to deal with the new land requirements so that Dovim, Rashka, and the few others waiting in the wings can start implementing some of the land plans that they are already working on.

I'm sorry if you feel entitled, or that I owe you something, but you will find me wholly unsympathetic. The game will take however long it takes. I'm not really doing this for the money, and definitely not for the fame. In a lot of ways this game is not the game I wanted to make, but the changes came early and I committed to that altered vision to serve the community.

I remain committed, we will see something tangible again this year.
